We are excited to be working with The Waterfall Trust.  The Waterfall Trust is a Hampshire based, registered Christian charity that aims to bring hope and restoration to women wanting to overcome addiction.
It aims to help women change from self-destructive patterns of behaviour. The Trust wants to see women set free, living fulfilling lives with dignity and confidence.

Their programme involves weekly one to one support that runs alongside a regular programme of teaching and therapeutic activities. They work alongside other specialist providers and are able to provide a safe place for women. A place where women are treated as individuals and their needs are addressed holistically.

The Waterfall Trust approached Daily Bread Consultancy to help them with their income generation. As with many small charities they found it hard to balance the demands of income generation alongside the provision of their core services. As a result the charity struggles financially.

Working closely with the CEO we have developed an income strategy for the Waterfall Trust and have been involved in implementing it. This has included grant writing, setting up the Trust with a Google Grant, and campaign development.

Daily Bread Consultancy has had a good amount of success for the Waterfall Trust. This has included securing the largest grant in it’s history, from Rosa. We have also increased the supporter base of the charity and have increased regular giving through an effective email campaign. Google Grant management has been key to the success of this project as it has enabled us to reach an audience that otherwise wouldn’t have found the Waterfall Trust.

2021 Update

Sadly as a result of the pandemic the trustees of the Waterfall Trust decided that the charity was no longer viable. However, the founder of the organisation and trustee, Tricia Kenyon is continuing to support people with addiction issues. This will be via a new charity venture, Acorn Chaplaincy.

Acorn Chaplaincy is a new Christian charity, based in Southampton. It will be providing services and support to adults who suffer with addiction issues.
